Senior Network Engineer

T3 Communications based in Fort Myers is growing fast and looking for quality engineering staff to join in our success. T3 is a next generation facilities based CLEC. T3 provides essential voice, data and professional services to small and medium businesses. To support our expansion, we are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to proactively contribute to the design, implementation, and support of T3’s backbone network, IP switching, and managed network service offerings to both internal and external clients.

More specifically, the Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for the design of T3’s core infrastructure as well as developing procedures for testing, troubleshooting and configuration of core routers, switches, LAN/WAN interfaces needs and overall network connectivity between IP/ATM, TDM/SONET, and wireless networks.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the desire and ability to contribute to a fast moving team with a customer first attitude.
SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Detailed knowledge of Cisco routers and switches, CCNP or greater certification required;
  • Detailed knowledge of VOIP protocols, network requirements and design criteria;
  • Experienced in the use and configuration of network monitoring and management systems;
  • Strong attention to detail;
    -- Ability to take a project from design to implementation, including development of operational procedures and overseeing a successful handoff to Operations;
  • Experience in the design, operation, and troubleshooting of data and voice networks
  • Wireless, SONET, and other network experiences desirable;
  • Able to actively contribute to the development of IT solutions including server configuration, backup services, hosted exchange, …
    -- IT experience with operating systems including Unix, Windows, Windows Server, Linux, Novell and Solaris is desirable;
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
  • Comfortable working with customers, partners, vendors, and all levels of management in meeting Company and customer needs.
Experience Requirements:
  • BSEE/BSCS or equivalent advanced technical certifications;
  • CCNP or greater;
  • 3 years or more of experience in a network environment; team leadership or management desirable;
  • Project management experience desirable.

Director of Marketing

The role covers all aspects of Marketing and Corporate Communications as well as product development.? Working closely with the executive team, Engineering, and Finance, the successful candidate will have hand’s-on ability and the ‘can-do’ attitude required to:

  • Develop and execute innovative, resourceful and targeted marketing initiatives;
  • Manage various marketing channels including:
  • Direct marketing and associated collateral materials;
  • Web marketing; and SEO
  • In partnership with Sales, continuously generate qualified leads for T3 products;
  • Develop marketing and product initiatives for existing customers; and
  • Build purposeful brand awareness consistent with our corporate direction, values and competencies.
The Director of Marketing will create marketing materials, mange our web sales, SEO, product management effectively partner with the Sales team and other internal groups.? The Director of Marketing will also play a key role in T3’s product management through product packaging, pricing and launch support. Thus the successful candidate position must also be able to:
  • Maintain competitive and market intelligence along with strategic direction recommendations to senior management;
  • Develop pricing recommendations across multiple markets and locations;
  • Develop and maintain product margin analyses. Work with Finance on actual vs. budgeted results;
  • Develop product life cycle and roadmaps to drive product enhancements and new product development efforts; and
  • Provide management leadership to both internal team members and outside resources consistent with company growth.
Prior telecom, Internet and viral marketing experience desired. BA/BS in Business or technical field required. MBA highly desirable Must have skills and experience (candidates without the following will not be considered) –
  • 5 years minimum marketing director or equivalent experience
  • 3 years minimum Telecom experience
  • Excellent analytical skills for modeling, pricing and competitive analysis
  • Excellent written and MS Office skills
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Proven creative marketing, promotion and advertising skills
  • BA/BS degree
Desirable skills and experience –

Advanced technical degree and MBA
